Market

What this section is for

Betting stopped being adjacent to basketball some time ago: it is on the broadcast, in the app the league promotes and in the language fans use to describe a close fourth quarter. This section describes that machinery — how an operator is licensed, how a price is made and moved, what payment rails and payout timings actually mean, and which parts of the business the advertising never mentions.

These are reference pages, written to be checked rather than followed. An operator is described by what its licence and published terms say, with the date we read them; a market is described by its mechanics. Where a page exists because somebody paid for the placement, that is stated on the page itself and the same placements are listed in How we work — the arrangement does not buy a verdict, a rating or a recommendation.

What you will not find here is a tip, a pick or a claim that any of this can be beaten with enough reading. The house edge is a design feature, not a flaw to be outplayed.
